The challenge
The company was approaching the final and most important phase of a multi-year system implementation. Its leaders wanted the project teams aligned and inspired for the final push, with more energy than emails or slides could give, and to thank them for their work so far. A film of its executives became part of the program's wider change management.
Great job! I would never have thought of this, which is why we have someone like you on the project!
The approach
- Filmed more than a dozen executives. Interviews on location, edited into one storyline from many speakers, opening on a collage of the voices to come.

- Worked from talking points, not scripts. Each leader had the key points to make, so they stayed on track, spoke naturally and avoided a corporate feel.
- Shot for a polished finish. Two cameras at every shoot, for seamless editing.
- Revised in parallel. Feedback came in over several rounds, each turned round fast, to hold a two-week schedule.
[Verity] did a great job of editing a lot of footage from many speakers into a story line.
The results
- A professional HD film, delivered in under two weeks.
- Shown to hundreds of project team members at all-hands meetings, by streaming and by email.
- Management saw the film as an important part of its change management, one that helped inspire the team to complete the final phase.
This video was ideal for demonstrating leadership support and appreciation during a very crucial time in the program. It made a significant positive, global impact across all of the functions.
