Verity Consulting, Inc. ("Verity") runs verityconsulting.com. This policy covers the website: what it collects, why, and your choices. Work we do for clients is covered by our agreements with them, not by this policy.
What we collect
- What you send us. If you email us or use the contact form, we receive what you include, such as your name, work email, company and message.
- How you use the site. If you allow analytics cookies, HubSpot records the pages you visit and how you arrived, for example from a search or a link. If you later contact us through the form, those visits are linked to your details. Cloudflare Web Analytics, and HubSpot if you decline, count page views without cookies and without identifying you.
- Site features. If you allow functional cookies, features such as chat or embedded video remember your choices between pages and visits. Features we use: none yet.
- Advertising. If you allow advertising cookies, the ad platforms listed below record that you visited, so we can measure whether our ads work and show our ads to people who have visited.
- Technical data. Cloudflare, our host, processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
How we use it
We use it to reply to you, to learn which pages are useful, to measure our advertising, and to follow up about work you've asked about. We don't sell personal information.
Who processes it
HubSpot, our CRM, stores contact form submissions and visit history. Microsoft hosts our email. Cloudflare hosts the site and counts visits. Ad platforms we use: none yet. Each works under its own data protection terms, and may store data in the United States.
Your choices
- Cookies: the banner lets you allow or decline functional, analytics and advertising cookies separately, and the site works the same either way. You can change your choice from "Cookie settings" in the footer.
- Your details: to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, email info@verityconsulting.com. We reply within 30 days.
- Email: we only email you about what you asked us about, and any marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
How long we keep it
We keep emails, form submissions and the visits linked to them while we have a reason to stay in touch, and review them at least every two years. Visits not linked to a person expire with HubSpot's cookies. Ad platforms keep data under their own terms.
